Dr. Michael Rintala is in private practice in San Diego, California specializing in sports medicine and rehabilitation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC San Diego and a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, graduating in 1997. Dr. Rintala has been part of the PGA Tour Sports Medicine Team since 2004 and is a treating doctor for the World Surf League and member of the USA Surfing Performance Committee. In September 2009 he became the first certified DNS practitioner in San Diego. He is a Prague School of Rehabilitation Primary Instructor teaching DNS across the United States and is a DNS Certified Exercise Trainer.
